Lost Immortals Episode 97

Summary

Originally broadcast on Burgess Hill Radio 103.8FM Sunday 103.8FM 31.1.21 5-7pm

Episode 97

with Roy Stannard, Howard Popeck and Matt Staples

In this show we play our first Hungarian track, visit Russia, track the career of Tracey Thorn, hear a self penned poem by one of our listeners set to Debussy mixed with punk, blues, Latin, Frech pop, Spanish pop using Pachelbel’s Canon and Van Morrison ‘Full Force Gale’ on which Ry Cooder plays sublime slide guitar

and then Elvis Costello supasses it by covering song and turning it into an Gospel acapella classic.

Surprising, provoking, unforgettable..
