Under Pressure

Stressed, under pressure, at the end of your tether, hyped, anxious, overwhelmed.

No, this isn’t going to be one of those chilled, zen-like shows that feature hypnotised dolphins, dream-catchers or compulsory yoga. Musicians are more subject to pressure than most – ticking studio clocks, looming release dates, whistlestop world tours, where everything is based around the clock.

Yet musicians sitting in hotel rooms and in the back of vans often write their best work, strung out, stretched, strangled by impossible schedules. Yet still brilliantly sharing their world with us.
