Actors who make records are supposed to give us vanity projects, curios, the odd charming misfire, but this week’s playlist proves half of Hollywood has been quietly moonlighting as the real musicians. From Richard Harris turning heartbreak into baroque melodrama, to Idris Elba’s soulful grit, Jeff Goldblum’s jazz‑club elegance, Zooey Deschanel’s vintage shimmer, and Keanu Reeves brooding his way through basslines, this is a two‑hour reminder that some performers don’t just play emotion, they can actually write it, sing it, and occasionally shred it. Welcome to a show where the actors get to steal the scene with a guitar instead of a monologue.
